Utilaroo is designed to minimise the personal information required to use its standard tools.
Calculator, planner, QR and file inputs
Utilaroo’s standard calculations and file-processing tools run locally in your browser, including QR generation and QR scanning. Values, dates, city selections, QR content and images you enter are not submitted to or stored by Utilaroo.
The QR scanner requests camera permission only when you select Start camera. Camera frames are analysed on your device and are not transmitted to Utilaroo. You can stop access from the tool or revoke it through your browser settings.
Technical information
Our hosting infrastructure may process basic information needed to deliver, secure and diagnose the site. This can include request time, browser and device type, referring page and an IP address or network identifier in operational security logs.
Cookies and browser storage
Utilaroo does not require an account. Essential browser storage may be used for device-local preferences. Google’s consent and advertising technology may also use cookies, local storage or similar technologies where permitted by law and by your choices. The available controls depend on your region.
Google advertising
Utilaroo is connected to Google AdSense, but utilaroo.com is not currently approved to show ads. AdSense verification code is active across the site and the published ads.txt entry is authorised. Utilaroo has not activated manual advertising placements and does not currently receive payment for display advertisements. Google may still receive technical requests and process information such as IP addresses, device information and request metadata for site verification, security, consent management and advertising-system readiness, even when no advertisement is shown.
If advertising is approved and activated in the future, Google and participating advertising partners may place or read cookies, use web beacons, or process IP addresses and device information to serve, limit, secure and measure advertising. Ads may be personalised, non-personalised or limited depending on your region and choices.

Consent and privacy choices
Utilaroo has published a Google-certified consent management message for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland. It is available in 32 languages and its first layer offers Consent, Do not consent and Manage options. In those regions, Google’s advertising storage and personalisation behaviour is governed by the message and the choices you make.
When Google’s consent API is available, a Privacy choices control appears in the footer on every page. Use it to reopen the message, review your choices or withdraw consent. The control may not appear outside regions where Google serves the consent message. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings.

Sharing and external services
We do not sell personal information. Information may be processed by service providers that host, secure or operate the site, and by Google as described above and subject to applicable regional choices. Links to third-party websites are governed by those organisations’ privacy practices.
Retention and security
Operational information is retained only as long as reasonably needed for security, diagnostics, legal obligations and service improvement. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, but we use proportionate safeguards and minimise collection.
Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction or deletion of personal information we hold, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Use the consent controls described above for Google advertising choices.
Children
Utilaroo is a general-audience utility service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly ask children to provide personal information.
