Utilaroo is designed to minimise the personal information required to use its standard tools.
Calculator and tool inputs
The Percentage, Margin & Markup Calculator performs its calculations locally in your browser. The numbers you enter are not submitted to or stored by Utilaroo.
Technical information
Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure may process basic technical information needed to deliver and secure the site. This can include request time, browser type, device type, referring page and an abbreviated or network-level IP address in security logs.
Cookies and local storage
Utilaroo does not currently require an account. We may use essential browser storage for preferences such as calculation settings. When analytics or advertising services are enabled, those providers may use cookies or similar technologies subject to consent requirements that apply in your region.
Google advertising
Utilaroo plans to use Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve and measure ads, limit repeated advertising and help detect fraud. Before personalised advertising is enabled where consent is required, an appropriate consent mechanism will be provided.
External services
Links to third-party websites are governed by those organisations’ privacy practices. We do not control their content or data handling.
Retention and security
We retain operational information only as long as reasonably needed for security, diagnostics, legal obligations and service improvement. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, but we use proportionate safeguards and minimise collection.
Your choices
You can block or delete browser cookies through your browser settings. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to request access, correction or deletion of personal information we hold.
