How Utilaroo handles corrections
Clear reports help us distinguish a calculation defect from a difference in assumptions, jurisdiction, product data or expected rounding.
What to include
- The tool URL and calculation mode.
- The exact inputs, selected units and options.
- The result shown and the result you expected.
- Your calculation or a primary source supporting the correction.
- Browser and device details only when the issue appears technical.
How reports are reviewed
We reproduce the scenario, inspect the deterministic engine and interface state, compare the page explanation with its cited sources and determine whether the issue affects arithmetic, display, content or only an unstated assumption.
Correction priority
A material error that could change a financial, energy, construction or other consequential decision receives priority. Confirmed calculation defects are corrected with focused regression coverage. Minor wording or link issues are repaired in the next suitable maintenance release.
What changes after a correction
The affected page’s editorial review date is updated when its method, assumptions, sources or material explanation changes. A corrected tool is rebuilt and tested with the rest of the Utilaroo site before publication.
